RRB Recruitment 2025 Assistant Loco Pilot 9970 Posts Online Application

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 9970 permanent posts of Assistant Loco Pilot. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online on or before 11-05-2025 , after making sure that they meet the concerned eligibility criteria.

Dates to Consider:

Starting date for filling online application : 12-04-2025

Online Application forms will be received by : 11-05-2025.

Last Date for Application fee payment : 13-05-2025

Dates for Modification : 14-05-2025 to 23-05-2025

Mode of Recruitment :

The recruitment process will consist of the these stages:

First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1)
Second Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-2)
Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
Document Verification (DV)
Medical Examination (ME)

The First Stage CBT (CBT-1) will be of 60 minutes duration and will include a total of 75 questions. It is a qualifying stage and serves as the initial screening for candidates.

The Second Stage CBT (CBT-2) will consist of two parts:

Part-A: 90 minutes duration with 100 questions
Part-B: 60 minutes duration with 75 questions

Total duration of CBT-2 will be 2 hours and 30 minutes, covering 175 questions in total.

Based on the performance in CBT-2, candidates will be shortlisted for the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and Document Verification. Final selection will be subject to successful verification of documents and clearance of the medical examination.

Fee Structure :

The application fee is Rs. 250/- for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PH categories, and all female applicants. For all other candidates, the application fee is Rs. 500/-.

The fee should be paid online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking through a secure payment gateway.

After appearing in the Stage I examination, a refund will be processed as given:

UR / OBC / EWS candidates: Rs. 400/-
SC / ST / PH / Female candidates: Rs. 250/-

Applicants are advised to ensure they appear in the Stage I examination to be eligible for the applicable fee refund.

How to Apply :

On or before 11-05-2025, online applications can be submitted using the offered facility. Before completing the application, carefully read the instructions. The candidate should fill out the online application with all of their personal and educational information in the proper sections, according to their certifications. Applicants must upload a scanned photo and signature to the online application. A printout of the online application should be saved for future reference.
